TfL has just published a note about work to replace the escalators to the Piccadilly Line, as they have reached the end of their working life. The work will start in late February and end in spring 2022.

During this time the Piccadilly Line will not stop at South Kensington. Both the District and Circle Lines will continue to run as normal, although they may be more crowded. Their site suggests alternative transport options.
