30 March 2020 – Auriens has provided the below update on the temporary suspension of their building works at 2 Dovehouse Street.
AURIENS CHELSEA – CORONAVIRUS (COVID19) UPDATE NO 1 – 25 MARCH 2020
In response to the Prime Minister’s public address, Multiplex has taken the decision to suspend operations on all our UK construction sites with immediate effect. During this suspension, we will still be maintaining a small crew of personnel on site to ensure our sites remain safe and secure.
It is not a decision that we have taken lightly. At each step of the way during this global crisis, we have carefully weighed up and complied with all government and medical guidance that has been issued. Always guided by the obligations we owe to our staff, subcontractors, clients and the public at large, of which we are acutely aware. We also fully recognise the paramount obligation that all businesses now share to avoid placing any further strain on the NHS, which is going to heroic lengths to stem the spread of the virus and which needs our full support.

We understand the concerns everyone has around how COVID 19 is developing throughout the UK and we are taking our responsibilities here very seriously to keep our people and local communities safe and well.

The Residents’ Meeting planned for April will be postponed until further notice. In lieu of this, a comprehensive, construction and community related newsletter will be issued by the end of March and this will bring you all up to speed on current works and initiatives at Auriens Chelsea.
