The architect, Chelsea Consultants, has now begun work on this site which will comprise mainly apartments, as well as some retail at street level.  The exterior work to date has been minimal; however, they will be working closely with the developer for 196-222 Kings Road (see above) to ensure that traffic between the two projects is managed effectively.  Overall, they expect to start in Q2 2019 and that the whole project will take about 80 weeks.  Additional information on the project is available here:  http://www.chelseaconsultants.com/portfolio/chelsea-manor-street/.

In the meantime there have a been a number of large, noisy parties at this site during the past year; it is advertised as an open space which is “perfect for a wide range of events, launches, exhibitions and shoots, Fashion Week, Product & Gaming, Press, Art & Furniture, Theatre production and Urban Pop-Up. There is nothing like this in London!”  The SSDRA continues to monitor these events and will contact the RBKC noise line when necessary.
